Why Do I Practice Law?

I practice law because I want to make a difference in the lives of others, especially those who have suffered injuries and harm because of the actions of others. Prior to becoming an attorney, I worked as a direct care worker in a facility serving individuals who suffered traumatic brain injuries. I saw their daily pain and struggles with seemingly simple, everyday tasks. Most of those clients were injured in car accidents or work-related accidents and I felt compelled to provide more assistance. My experience enforced the importance of treating people with dignity, consideration, and respect; values I strive to embody. Practicing law allows me to make a difference by ensuring they receive the treatment they deserve by zealously advocating for their rights. I could not imagine doing any other work as fulfilling and meaningful as the practice of law.
