Why do I practice law?
Having a license to practice law is a privilege and one that I hold very dear, and I am very honored to have the duty to carry out all that this privilege entails. The relationships that I have developed and maintained with clients, attorneys, financial experts, realtors, technology specialists, insurance agents, courthouse employees, and others re-enforces daily that although we are all different, we all have a lot in common and various ways in which we relate. I explore all alternatives with my clients with hopes of achieving the best practical advice and solution to meet current needs and situations.

Why do I practice law?
I practice law because I enjoy the daily work involved in representing people who need legal help. It is my passion to make a positive difference in the lives of my clients by effectively asserting their position and pursuing justice on their behalf. I accomplish this by being available, having resources to build and pursue a case, providing sound judgment, and zealously advocating a position when necessary. It is satisfying to see my clients realize meaningful results.

Why do I practice law?
Helping people solve their problems is why I practice law. I enjoy working with people especially solving their disputes and giving my clients peace of mind. This involves restorative justice to clients who have been wronged and also helping those who have been sued and do not know what to do. Often this is one of the most stressful events of my clients' lives or they would not be in to see me. I try hard to communicate with my clients so they are informed about how the process works including describing the risks involved and trying to control those risks. I try to shoulder their burdens to lift the burdens off their shoulders. I like the people element the most. The law is first and foremost a "people business."

Why do I practice law?
I practice law because I want to make a difference in the lives of others, especially those who have suffered injuries and harm because of the actions of others. Prior to becoming an attorney, I worked as a direct care worker in a facility serving individuals who suffered traumatic brain injuries. I saw their daily pain and struggles with seemingly simple, everyday tasks. Most of those clients were injured in car accidents or work-related accidents and I felt compelled to provide more assistance. My experience enforced the importance of treating people with dignity, consideration, and respect; values I strive to embody. Practicing law allows me to make a difference by ensuring they receive the treatment they deserve by zealously advocating for their rights. I could not imagine doing any other work as fulfilling and meaningful as the practice of law.
